Becoming Together is a community based, therapy practice dedicated to witnessing, honoring, and sharing in both the individual and collective story while embodying equity, shared power, and authentic relational engagement to nurture emotional healing and mental wellness for all people.

Our tranquil setting provides a peaceful escape for families coping with the death of a child to refresh their minds and spirits while spending time with others who understand their experiences. Our long weekend retreats combine professional grief counseling, therapeutic experiences, and group activities that help families heal. As the first dedicated retreat facility of its kind, our goal is to connect families and give them tools for coping with grief and its challenges in a healthy way.

Founded in 2024 in memory of Grayson James, who tragically lost his life in a DUI accident, the foundation was born from a deeply personal journey through grief. After also losing both parents within a year, our founder created a space where all forms of loss are acknowledged and supported. Whether you are grieving a child, parent, sibling, partner, or friend—we welcome you with open hearts.
